Sky Sport Italia reports that Roma want to bring Franck Kessié back to Serie A from Al-Ahli, but the Giallorossi must find a way to finance the deal.
Roma are interested in ex-Milan and Atalanta star Kessié, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The Ivory Coast international is under contract with Al-Ahli until June 2026.
According to the report, Roma have not yet made official contact with Al-Ahli, but are discussing internally the cost of a potential deal, including both the transfer fee and salary.

The Giallorossi are also due to earn at least €11m by the end of June to avoid sanctions for breaching UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
The likes of Saud Abdulhamid, Eldor Shomurodov and Leandro Paredes could leave the Giallorossi before the end of the month to meet their financial target and avoid UEFA sanctions.
The Giallorossi will begin pre-season preparation on July 13 under new coach Gian Piero Gasperini and make their 2025-26 Serie A debut at home against Bologna on August 23.
