Roma make £20m bid for Jadon Sancho

AS Roma have placed a bid of £20 million for Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho.

The 25-year-old spent the majority of last season on loan at Chelsea where he played 41 games for the Blues that lifted the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Notably, Chelsea paid a fee not to make the loan permanent at the end of the season with Sancho not included in Enzo Maresca's Club World Cup squad.

Now Sancho is part of the 'bomb squad' at Old Trafford and has reportedly turned down offers to move already.

Serie A side Roma have now placed a bid of £20 million for the former Borussia Dortmund man according to Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports.

The bid would be a considerable loss in the initial transfer for United but they are keen to see Sancho leave on a permanent basis especially considering the player's high wage.
