Reports in Italy claim that Roma are interested in Manchester City’s Claudio Echeverri and Wolverhampton Wanderers’s Fabio Silva as potential alternatives to Jonathan Rowe as the Giallorossi seek new additions in attack for the start of the 2025-26 season.
After welcoming Evan Ferguson to the attacking department at the Stadio Olimpco, on top of the additions of Neil El Aynaoui, Wesley and Devis Vasquez, Gian Piero Gasperini is now requesting a new attacking option to play in the supporting roles behind the centre-forward.
On top of recent links to Olympique de Marseille and England U21 winger Jonathan Rowe, there are two other players owned by Premier League clubs that are reportedly of interest to the Giallorossi.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are interested in picking up Fabio Silva, who has spent the last three seasons away from Molyneux on four separate loan spells with Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven, Rangers and most recently Las Palmas, where he hit 10 goals and three assists from 24 LaLiga appearances.
As per Sky Sport Italia, another option for Roma this summer is highly-rated Man City teenager Echeverri, who scored his first goal for Pep Guardiola’s side during the FIFA Club World Cup over the summer.

The 19-year-old has not yet been able to break through as a first-team regular in Manchester, and had to settle for just 64 minutes of competitive senior actions last season, including his 45-minute appearance against Al Ain at the Club World Cup.
