Roma are working to secure Gourna-Douath on a permanent deal.
The young midfielder joined the club on loan from Salzburg in January and impressed Claudio Ranieri and the club’s management with only a handful of appearances to his name.

Despite the buy option included in the Frenchman’s contract has already expired, Roma still intend to keep the him.
The value of the agreement with Salzburg was set at 19.6 million euros, a figure that has not yet been paid, but contacts are underway between the parties to find a new formula that can satisfy both clubs.
The player is also considered a good fit by soon-to-be Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini.
