The latest report by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport states that Roma and Everton may be working closer than ever on a specific transfer target.
The two clubs, both owned by the Friedkin Group, are working on signing Flamengo fullback Wesley.
According to Di Marzio, Everton would be willing to sign the player on a permanent deal first.
Then, the Toffees would loan him out to Roma who consider the Brazilian footballer the perfect addition to Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
Talks are on with Wesley pushing for the move to Europe to take place soon.
