Tottenham Hotspur entertained Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure all three points at home. Spurs made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the tenth minute thanks to Richarlison’s effort. Thomas Frank’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Richarlison doubled his team’s advantage at the hour mark before Brennan Johnson got his name on the scoresheet just six minutes later. The match ended with Tottenham earning a convincing 3-0 win in front of their home fans.

LB: Djed Spence – 7/10

He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.

CM: Pape Matar Sarr – 8.5/10

Sarr anchored the midfield well and was good on the ball. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Archie Gray – 7/10

He did his fair share of defending but offered very little going forward.

CM: Lucas Bergvall – 7/10

Bergvall made some solid tackles and was a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

RW: Mohammed Kudus – 8.5/10

He made a lot of inviting chances for others around him and picked up two assists on his Tottenham debut.

ST: Richarlison – 9/10

Richarlison caused all sorts of problems for the Burnley defenders and managed to score a brace this afternoon.

LW: Brennan Johnson – 7.5/10

He caught the eye at times and managed to score in the 66th minute.
