Milan director of sport Igli Tare has confirmed that the midfield will be the area where the Rossoneri will be making the most changes, and after getting Luka Modrić, Milan have now sealed the deal for another midfielder.

The name of Ricci has been circulating in the orbit of the Diavolo for quite some time, and today (Saturday), as reported by Fabrizio Romano, Milannews.it and others, a full agreement has been struck between all the parties and Ricci is effectively a new player of Milan.

The 23-year-old midfielder will arrive for €23m plus €2m in bonuses. Ricci is currently on vacation outside the peninsula, but will soon undergo his Milan medical and sign the contract at Casa Milan. Torino had been in a hurry to close the sale of Ricci before Monday as they need the money to reinforce the squad.

Ricci made 36 appearances last season, scoring 1 goal and making 2 assists. The Italian will sign a five-year contract worth €2.5m per season.
