Paris Saint-Germain and Carlos Soler have reportedly parted ways as the 27-year-old will join West Ham United. After a sporadic tenure with the Parisians, the player will attempt to get his career back on track with the English side.

Leaving PSG would be a wise move for Soler as he looks to catch the attention of Spain manager Luis de la Fuente before the 2026 FIFA World Cup. During the 2023-24 season, Soler played 26 games across all competitions for the French club, scoring one goal and providing four assists.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Soler is keen on joining West Ham. He also mentions that technical director Tim Steidten and Spanish manager Julen Lopetegui are working hard to make the move happen.

Romano reported on Friday that Soler will join the Premier League club on loan, with an option to buy included in the deal with PSG. Furthermore, West Ham will cover his salary as part of the agreement.

It’s a move that suits all parties as PSG move off from a player they weren’t counting on, West Ham strengthen its team to compete in the Premier League, and Soler gets a fresh start somewhere else.
