Matheus Cunha has been a key player for Wolverhampton Wanderers, showcasing his ability to excel in various attacking roles, including as an attacking midfielder, a supporting striker, and a center-forward.
According to Fichajes, the Brazilian forward has caught the attention of top clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain. While Cunha is said to be happy at Wolves and enjoying life in the Premier League, the report claims the club might entertain offers exceeding €70 million.
Cunha’s performances continue to impress, highlighted by his spectacular “Olympic goal” against Manchester United on Thursday, which gave Wolves a 1-0 lead. This display showcased his attacking capabilities and could also boost his value in the transfer market.

The Athletic spotlighted Arsenal’s need to pursue a player that can bolster their attack, especially after the injury to Bukayo Saka. According to their reporting, Arsenal have been “long-term admirers” of Cunha, even though he isn’t currently one of their main targets.
Arsenal have taken note of his strong performances this season and are keeping an eye on his situation. That said, it’s hard to see Wolves letting him go in the middle of a season where they’re likely to be fighting relegation.
However, if Wolves were to be relegated, it could open the door for a potential move. There’s also the possibility of Cunha not extending his contract, which is set to expire in 2027.
