Chelsea are seen are Real Madrid’s biggest rivals in the race for Bournemouth centre back Dean Huijsen according to reports.
Huijsen joined Bournemouth from Juventus last summer, but is attracting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs after a series of impressive performances for the Cherries.
The 19-year-old made his Spain debut against the Netherlands on Thursday and it’s been confirmed the teenager has a £50m release clause active this summer.
Huijsen has made 27 appearances in all competitions for Bournemouth, who are right in the mix to qualify for European football.
The Spaniard has a host of clubs interested in him with Spanish giants Real Madrid one of the teams interested in the defender, whilst Chelsea are also big admirers of Huijsen.
Spanish outlet Marca have reported the Spanish giants view Chelsea as their biggest rivals in the race for the defender.

The report adds both Chelsea and Madrid had scouts watching Huijsen in Spain’s 2-2 draw with the Dutch last week.
Chelsea are looking to sign a new centre back this summer and have been strongly linked with a move for Marc Guehi, who they are said to be keen on bringing back to Stamford Bridge.
Teenager Mamadou Sarr will arrive in the summer, with the Blues agreeing a deal with Strasbourg for the defender in January.
There’s set to be a lot of movement defensively at Chelsea this summer, with the likes of Axel Disasi and Trevoh Chalobah expected to leave the club.

Chelsea need to bring in some leadership at the back after failing to replace Thiago Silva’s quality both on and off the pitch last summer.
Whilst Huijsen is clearly a very talented defender with huge potential, the last thing the Blues need is to add yet another inexperienced player into their young backline.
