Nottingham Forest have joined the race to sign Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho, reports in England claim, despite ongoing talks with Juventus for the English winger.

According to what has been reported by English tabloid newspaper The Sun, via TMW, Forest see Sancho as a strong replacement for Anthony Elanga, who has joined Newcastle United this summer.

However, Juventus remain in a strong position, having already reportedly agreed personal terms with the player.

Forest lie in wait as Juventus negotiate fee for Sancho

Whilst Sancho remains a strong candidate for Juventus this transfer window, the Bianconeri are in a back-and-forth with the Red Devils over the fee.

Reports have suggested that the Bianconeri are low-balling the Premier League club, as they are aware the player’s wage demands will consume a large portion of their budget.

Therefore, the presence of an English club with considerable funds to spend after several key sales may be the last remaining obstacle in the Old Lady’s pursuit of the former Borussia Dortmund player.
