Young midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro is reportedly one step away from joining newly-promoted Pisa on loan from Inter Milan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the Tuscans will have a purchase option on the 20-year-old, and Inter will have a buyback.

20-year-old midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro spent last season on loan with Sampdoria.

The Nigerian joined the Ligurians on loan last summer. This is is first regular experience in senior football.

Akinsanmiro had previously impressed in Inter’s Under-19 or Primavera team. This had earned him some matchday squad appearances last season, and a cameo substitute appearance against Lecce.

Inter had beaten the likes of Real Madrid and Benfica to Akinsanmiro’s signature.

However, prior to this season the priority was to get Akinsanmiro regular playing time.

Therefore, Sampdoria emerged as the ideal destination for the 20-year-old to start finding his feet in the senior game.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Pisa are closes to signing Akinsanmiro now.

The Nigerian is ready to make the step up to top flight football.

Therefore, Pisa have emerged as the right destination for Akinsanmiro to take the next step.

According to Sky, Inter and Pisa have an agreement on a loan deal.

The Tuscans will sign Akinsanmiro on a season-long loan. Then, they will have the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season – but with Inter also having the option to buy him right back.
