Petar Sucic and Andy Diouf made their Inter Milan debuts in the opening Serie A fixture against Torino on Monday.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Croatian midfielder delivered a ‘veteran-like’ performance.
With Hakan Calhanoglu unavailable for selection, Cristian Chivu deployed Nicolo Barella as a deep-lying playmaker.
Meanwhile, Petar Sucic lined up as a box-to-box midfielder in his first appearance in Serie A and excelled.
Indeed, the 21-year-old made a superb assist on his debut, teeing up Marcus Thuram for Inter’s second.

Sucic’s outstanding showing didn’t go unnoticed, with the Croatian starlet earning broad plaudits.
Furthermore, there’s a feeling he will be a regular starter in his maiden season at San Siro.
On the other hand, Diouf came off the bench 11 minutes from time and showed glimpses of his potential.
Despite making several mistakes at first, the Frenchman found his footing toward the end of the game.
With Inter set to compete on multiple fronts, there will be plenty of room for the 22-year-old to showcase his talent.
