Inter Milan could let Leeds United and Besiktas target Mehdi Taremi leave the same way he came – via a free transfer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi has been at the centre of a number of transfer rumours in recent weeks.
The 33-year-old had a very underwhelming first season at Inter. Therefore, there is a widespread feeling that he will be on his way after just one year at the club.
There have been plenty of clubs to show an interest in Taremi’s signature.
The Gazzetta dello Sport report that Leeds United and Besiktas are particularly keen on the Iranian.

Inter would certainly like to cash in on Taremi if they can. After all, having signed the Iranian for nothing, any fee that they received would be a capital gains.
However, the Nerazzurri would also be happy simply to have Taremi off their books.
The former Porto striker is a high earner. His wages at Inter are around €3 million net per season.
Therefore, the Gazzetta dello Sport anticipate, Inter would even consider simply allowing Taremi to leave without a transfer fee.
