Inter coach Cristian Chivu was busy with the start of preseason training today.

The entire Nerazzurri squad, barring Mehdi Taremi, arrived at the Nerazzurri training ground this weekend. Therefore, Chivu has been starting on work preparing for the upcoming season.

However, the squad left the training ground relatively earlier after assembling today.

Chivu did not, however.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Chivu stayed behind at the training ground. As did Nerazzurri President Beppe Marotta, Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, and Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin.

The coach met with the club directors to discuss plans for the new season.

Among the topics up for discussion, the transfer market was certainly key.

The Inter directors updated Ausilio on the status of Inter’s pursuit of Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
