Report – Inter Milan Can Only Move For Chelsea Or RB Leipzig Stars If Iran International Sold | OneFootball

Inter Milan would only be able to move for Lois Openda or Christopher Nkunku if they first sell Mehdi Taremi.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews

Inter Milan have reportedly been eyeing up some attacking targets.

The Nerazzurri’s priority is reportedly to give a different look to their attack. New coach Cristian Chivu wants to play with attacking midfielders in a 3-4-2-1 shape.

Therefore, Inter have been looking into potential signings who could facilitate this transition.

RB Leipzig forward Lois Openda is one player who has emerged as a target for the Nerazzurri in this respect.

Then, Inter are also considering swooping for Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku. The Frenchman is very much out of favour at Stamford Bridge, and would therefore present an opportunity.

There would be a clear condition for Inter to sign either Openda or Nkunku.

The Nerazzurri would first have to find a way to offload striker Mehdi Taremi.

The Iranian is an out-and-out centre-forward. And he is a profile that doesn’t really have a place min Chivu’s new-look project.

Therefore, Inter would aim to fetch a fee for Taremi – who they signed on a free transfer last summer.

Then, the Nerazzurri could move for a player like Openda or Nkunku.
