Inter Milan are targeting an attack of six players with the signing of Ademola Lookman this summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nigerian will help facilitate the transition to a 3-4-2-1 shape.
Inter Milan are working to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman. That has been the bombshell of the last couple days, and could redefine the Nerazzurri’s summer transfer window.
The big question is how this move will affect Inter’s squad-building.
Inter already have four out-and-out forwards in their squad next season – Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram, Ange-Yoan Bonny, and Francesco Pio Esposito.

Having five forwards might well be excessive if Inter are to play with just two strikers next season.
However, new Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu has already flirted with the idea of switching to a 3-4-2-1 shape. And that is the kind of role that he sees for Lookman.
The Nigerian is more suited to playing in a withdrawn role than as an out-and-out striker.
Meanwhile, midfielder Davide Frattesi has always looked more comfortable in the final third than he has with his other duties in midfield. Therefore, he will play as an attacking midfielder under Chivu.
Accordingly, Tuttosport report, Inter plan to go into next season with six attacking options. Martinez, Thuram, Bonny, Pio Esposito, Lookman, and Frattesi.
Or else, if they miss out on Lookman, a player with a similar profile to the Atalanta forward.
These six players would essentially cover three slots in attack.
