Inter Milan signed Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich two years ago. And while he has made a big impact, there is a feeling that his form suffered a definite drop-off last season.

Furthermore, the Frenchman will turn thirty next campaign.

Therefore, there has been a nagging sense that this may be the right time for Inter to cash in.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray are reportedly eyeing up a deal to sign Pavard. Big-spending Saudi Pro League club have also sounded out a move.

Then, two destinations in Ligue 1 have emerged in the form of Lille and Marseille.

However, so far no club has made a decisive move to try and sign Pavard.

And the time is ticking down before the end of the summer transfer window.

Therefore, Inter may decide to stick with Pavard after all.

If the Frenchman were to leave, it would certainly be a blow to the Nerazzurri’s squad depth in defense.

And after making sales of players like Nicola Zalewski, Sebastiano Esposito, and Kristjan Asllani, there is hardly a pressing need to offload a player like Pavard.
