The injury crisis facing La Liga giants Real Madrid has taken another turn for the worse on Friday.
This comes amid confirmation of a fresh personnel blow in the club’s defensive ranks.
The subject of injury problems has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital over the course of recent days.
This comes after a whole host of Los Blancos’ stars were confirmed as having picked up injuries.
After Dani Ceballos suffered an ankle blow against Real Betis, both Ferland Mendy and Aurélien Tchouaméni were forced to pull out of the France national team squad.
Then, on Thursday, Éder Militão was released from the Brazilian setup, owing to a muscular concern.
And now, as alluded to above, 24 hours on, yet another issue in Real’s ranks has been announced.
As per a report from Marca, since backed by the reliable Mario Cortegana, Jacobo Ramón is also set for an incoming spell on the sidelines.
Youngster Ramón had been training with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad of late, amid the lack of options at the disposal of the Italian at the heart of defence.
The 19-year-old, for the coming couple of weeks, however, will not be an option to take to the pitch, either.
