Real Madrid’s fans sent a message to Toni Kroos & Luka Modrić during title celebrations | OneFootball

Supporters of Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid made use of the opportunity to send a message to midfield pair Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić, on Sunday.

Yesterday, of course, proved another special day for Carlo Ancelotti’s Real.

As much came as Los Blancos’ stars took to the streets of Madrid, to celebrate their La Liga title triumph.

Over the course of the day, a whole host of Real’s stars were singled out for praise on the part of the massive crowd to have gathered in Cibeles.

And two such players, as alluded to above, came in the form of veteran midfielders Toni Kroos, and Luka Modrić.

As the pair appeared alongside one another atop a balcony in the city, widespread chants of ‘Kroos, Modric, stay! Stay!’ were heard stemming from the streets.

This of course comes ahead of the expiration of their respective contracts at the Santiago Bernabéu in the summer.

And, if Modrić’s face was any indication of the plans of the beloved duo, then it would appear that the Real Madrid faithful could soon see their wish granted…
