As is the case almost every summer, a number of youngsters from Real Madrid are expected to leave the club following the end of their cycle with Castilla.

Given the quality of players and competition for places in the senior setup, it is not easy for the young talents to break into the team and as such, they move on in search of first-team football.

Youssef Lekhedim ‘Yusi’, currently with the first-team squad at the FIFA Club World Cup, has agreed to join Alaves upon returning from the USA.

Meanwhile, fellow defender Jacobo Ramon could also be on his way out after the tournament in North America.

Now, according to The Athletic, Jacobo Ramon’s camp is hoping that he can leave Real Madrid once the team is back after the FIFA Club World Cup.

The 20-year-old centre-back is attracting interest from Serie A outfit Como, where his former Castilla teammate Nico Paz is thriving under Cesc Fabregas.

And as such, his entourage is hoping that a transfer can be agreed upon in the coming weeks once the player is back from the US trip.

Ramon made his first-team debut for Real Madrid in January earlier this year in a UEFA Champions League game. Following that, he also featured in a string of La Liga matches towards the end of the season.

He has also appeared in one of Los Blancos’ five matches at the ongoing Club World Cup.

Ramon has a contract with Real Madrid until 2028. But as things stand, a spot in the first-team squad appears out of reach as he is behind Eder Militao, Dean Huijsen, Antonio Rudiger, Raul Asencio, and David Alaba in the pecking order.

As such, a move to Como could prove beneficial for the 20-year-old as he aims to continue his development.
