As much was confirmed by Brazil head coach Dorival Júnior on Friday evening.

Brazil are set to mark their return to action in the early hours of Sunday, when they lock horns with Uruguay in a crunch Copa quarter-final showdown.

The Seleção will be forced into something of a shake-up in the attacking third, with talismanic wide-man Vinícius Jr. unavailable through suspension.

Speaking to the media this evening, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his plans to replace Vini in his XI was put to the aforementioned Dorival.

And Brazil’s headmaster showcased little hesitation in confirming his intention to throw another Real Madrid man, in Endrick, into a starting role.

Not only that, but his partners in the country’s attacking trident were named, too.

Endrick is expected to line out through the middle, flanked on either side by Blancos teammate Rodrygo, and Barcelona winger Raphinha.
