La Liga giants Real Madrid have late this week been afforded some positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that star defender Antonio Rüdiger has returned to group activities alongside the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
German international Rüdiger for his part picked up a fitness problem last weekend, en route to Real Madrid’s drubbing at the hands of arch rivals Barcelona.
The former Chelsea man had since been training separately from his teammates at Valdebebas, to ensure that the issue – in his knee – was not made worse.
As alluded to above, though, late this week, Rüdiger has been given the green light to rejoin group training.
As much has been confirmed by Marca, with it added that the aim of the 31-year-old is to be fully fit and available to feature from the off in Los Blancos’ Champions League showdown with Italian heavyweights AC Milan next week.
