Real Madrid star ‘on Manchester City’s list’ for the summer | OneFootball

A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has made his way onto the summer transfer wishlist of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

That’s according to Sky Sports transfer insider Florian Plettenberg, who points towards Eduardo Camavinga as the player in question.

France international Camavinga has for his part endured something of a hit-and-miss campaign to date in Spain’s capital.

Owing to a combination of competition for places and questionable form since his return from a recent injury, the 22-year-old has found himself in and out of boss Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI.

All told, Camavinga has been afforded just 15 starts across all competitions.

And, amid such struggles on the part of the former Stade Rennais talent, one of European football’s leading clubs are ready to make a move for his signature.

As per a report from the aforementioned Florian Plettenberg:

‘Manchester City have Eduardo Camavinga on their list for the summer and are actively monitoring him. His agency, CAA Stellar, already has strong ties with Man City and recently facilitated Omar Marmoush’s transfer.’

It is as of now unclear whether Camavinga himself has any intention of seeking out a transfer this summer.
