A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is now considered as completely untouchable on the transfer market.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Aurélien Tchouaméni as the player in question.
Tchouaméni is for his part fresh off something of an unusual campaign in Spain’s capital in 2024/25.
After struggling badly for form over the early months of the term, the France international was singled out for heavy abuse on the part of the Real Mdrid faithful.
In fact, duing a number of high-profile fixtures, Los Blancos’ supporters went as far as to loudly boo Tchouaméni.
Rather than be overcome by as much, however, the former AS Monaco man made use of the boos and jeers as motivation to improve.
Tchouaméni, in turn, reestablished himself as one of Real’s star performers over the season’s final months.
And such mental fortitude has not gone at all unappreciated on the part of those behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu.
As per a report from Marca:
‘Tchouaméni is untouchable. The Frenchman, thanks to Ancelotti’s help and confidence, has returned to his best form and has overcome something few can do: leaving behind the hostility of the Bernabéu, something highly valued by Real Madrid’s leaders.’
