Real Madrid star limps out of training with injury concern | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid on Tuesday saw a member of the club’s attacking ranks forced into a premature departure from training.

That’s according to Blancos insider Guillermo Rai of The Athletic, who points towards Endrick as the player in question.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops were put through their paces once more earlier today, in an open training session in front of a group of the club’s supporters.

As much comes with a view to their post-Christmas return to action on Friday, when Real are primed to take on Valencia in a La Liga clash at Mestalla.

The aforementioned Endrick took full part, amid ongoing efforts to carve out a more regular role for himself in the plans of boss Ancelotti.

Late in the session, however, the Brazilian international pulled up, before being helped from the pitch by Real Madrid’s medical team.

As per Guillermo Rai:

‘Endrick left the pitch with discomfort. It was just in the last action of the training session and he was quickly assisted by the club doctors. Before going through the tunnel to the changing rooms he spoke again with doctor Felipe Segura.’
