La Liga giants Real Madrid could well be forced to make do without the contributions of a leading member of the club’s midfield ranks in their next outing.

The player in question? Jude Bellingham.

England international Bellingham was widely expected to feature from the off once more this weekend, as Real Madrid kick the final stretch of their season into gear.

A home La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo lies in wait, on Sunday afternoon.

As confirmed by Blancos insider Jorge C Picon of Relevo, however, if the latest word stemming from Spain’s capital is anything to go by, then Bellingham could yet be forced to sit out.

The 21-year-old, it is understood, limped out of training on Thursday. This came owing to what is labelled as ‘thigh discomfort’.

Bellingham, in turn, underwent an individualised training session away from the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real squad on Friday morning.

And though the capital outfit have been quick to assure that his issue is not a serious one, it remains to be seen if the former Borussia Dortmund man is considered well enough to feature from the off against Celta Vigo.
