Liverpool still have business to attend to in the summer transfer window - despite spending around £300m on new signings already.
Florian Wirtz has arrived for a British record fee which could reach £116m and there have been other new faces added too.

Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong, Giorgi Mamardashvili and Giovanni Leoni have all been recruited as sporting director Richard Hughes sets about improving the squad.
But Liverpool are lighter on numbers in the midfield than they were last season - with both Tyler Morton and James McConnell securing moves away from Anfield.
While Ryan Gravenberch remains the club’s first choice at No6, there is an argument to be made that Arne Slot needs one more senior midfielder at his disposal.
Gravenberch was suspended for the first match of the Premier League season - against Bournemouth - and his absence was keenly felt.
There have been whispers that Liverpool could move for a midfielder before the window closes.
And a surprise report in Spain claims that an unnamed English team have come forward with a bid to land Aurelien Tchouameni from Real Madrid.
Why is this significant?
Well, among the top teams Liverpool perhaps are in the biggest need of midfield reinforcements.
Arsenal have added Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard to the ranks this summer while Manchester City have spent big this year on Nico Gonzalez and Tijjani Reijnders.
Chelsea meanwhile boast Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

Don’t forget that Liverpool tried to sign Tchouameni from Monaco before he chose Madrid back in 2022. The France international turned them down but it’s understood that FSG CEO of Football Michael Edwards has always been a big fan of the 25-year-old.
“In the last few hours, an English team, through an intermediary, has approached Real Madrid to discuss the possibility of signing Aurélien Tchouaméni,” a report reads in Defensa Central.
But Madrid won’t sell this summer - even for €200m according to the report. Tchouameni has settled into life under Xabi Alonso quite well - and looks set to become the midfield metronome that the new Madrid manager requires.
No doubt Edwards and Hughes will have their eyes on this situation however and will be ready to move if anything changes.
