Real Madrid might turn to young forward Endrick as a short-term solution for their upcoming La Liga clash against Athletic Club at the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to reports from AS, the Brazilian talent is under consideration to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is set to miss the match due to injury.
The timing of Mbappe’s absence could not be more challenging for Los Blancos. The team has just been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League, and rivals Barcelona have widened the gap in the league standings.
In such a crucial moment, losing a player of Mbappe’s quality is a major blow. However, Endrick’s presence in the squad provides a promising alternative that manager Carlo Ancelotti may look to explore.
Despite limited minutes this season, Endrick has shown he is ready to make an impact. The Brazilian forward has already scored seven goals in just 565 minutes across 31 appearances.

This averages out to roughly 80 minutes per goal, making his goal-scoring record all the more impressive. He has found the back of the net in each of his last three matches, proving he can deliver when given the opportunity.
What has truly stood out is Endrick’s work ethic and positive attitude, traits that have not gone unnoticed by Ancelotti.
Although the coach has yet to give him a regular starting role, Endrick’s recent form could make him a key figure in the upcoming fixture.
With the Copa del Rey final fast approaching, squad rotation is expected. This may be the perfect moment for Ancelotti to test Endrick in a more prominent role.
Fans are already rallying behind the youngster, especially with frustration growing over the performances of the so-called Fantastic Four.
A strong showing against Athletic Club could further boost his case for more minutes as the season nears its climax.
