Serie A’s Como, under Cesc Fabregas, have quickly developed a reputation for being a great club encouraging young talents to come up and garner minutes.
In just their first season back in the Italian top-flight in 2024/25, they finished tenth in the league with the young core.
Former Real Madrid starlet Nico Paz was one of the players who shone for Como in Italy and has developed significantly working under Cesc Fabregas.
In fact, he is enjoying life at the club to an extent where he seriously debated not returning home when Real Madrid were considering his signing this summer.
Now, Gianluca Di Marzio report that another Real Madrid player is edging closer to joining Paz at Como.
As relayed by the Italian journalist, Jacobo Ramon has made his decision and selected Como as his next destination as he looks to garner more minutes and progress in his development.
Real Madrid and the Serie A Club, in fact, are already in advanced negotiations over the player’s transfer and progress is expected rapidly in the coming days.

The deal will see Ramon join Como on a permanent transfer although no estimate of any transfer fee has been provided. Real Madrid, however, will reserve a buy-back clause on him as they so often do on young talents.
Ramon was initially seen as Real Madrid’s best bet to reinforce and step in as an emergency centre-back last season until he suffered an unfortunate injury setback that gave Raul Asencio a chance under Carlo Ancelotti.
He eventually made his debut for the first team in Real Madrid’s game against RB Salzburg in the UEFA Champions League and then played in the Copa del Rey against Leganes.
His most memorable game for Los Blancos, undoubtedly, came against Mallorca when he scored a last-gasp winner for the team to keep them in the league title race.
Now, the centre-back appears set to say goodbye to Real Madrid and begin a new adventure in Italy with Como.
