Supporters of La Liga champions Real Madrid have on Sunday afternoon come together, to once more make known their grievances with Lucas Vázquez.
This comes owing to the early developments in the club’s latest outing.
Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Las Palmas.
Los Blancos headed into proceedings in the knowledge that, after Atlético’s shock defeat at the hands of Leganés on Saturday, a victory would see them leapfrog Diego Simeone’s troops into top spot in Spain’s top-flight.
Safe to say, then, that going a goal down inside the opening 60 seconds was not at all in the script for the Santiago Bernabéu hosts.
As alluded to above, though, this is precisely what has since played out.
After Fábio Silva broke free inside the Real Madrid penalty area, the Portuguese made no mistake with a simple finish from close range.
And the finger of blame for the goal has since been pointed squarely in the direction of one player.
Accused of losing track of Silva owing to a lack of awareness, Lucas Vázquez has been targeted in nothing short of ruthless fashion on the part of the Blancos faithful.
This comes amid an ongoing push for the versatile full-back to be dropped to the bench moving forward:
