This summer, Williams caught the eye of top clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Spurs, Barcelona, and PSG. However, there’s another potential player now in the mix.

According to SPORT (h/t Le10Sport), Real Madrid also wants Williams to bolster their attack should Vinícius Jr. leave the Spanish side next summer. As a result, there’s a chance that the Spanish star could team up with Kylian Mbappé next summer.

If the Parisians are still keen on the UEFA Euro 2024 winner, they must be prepared to go head-to-head with Real Madrid in the transfer market again, along with other clubs keen on the player.

Williams had an impressive 2023-24 season, featuring in 37 matches across all competitions for Athletic Club. He also played a crucial role in Spain’s UEFA Euro 2024 triumph in Germany, which unsurprisingly drew the attention of several clubs.

Nonetheless, the player is keen on competing in the UEFA Europa League this season with his brother and boyhood club. It will be interesting to see how this season plays out and whether his stock remains this high.
