Real Madrid boss Ancelotti hails pair of Barcelona youngsters | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has on Saturday revealed his appreciation for the talents of two breakthrough members of the first-team setup at Barcelona.

As much, of course, comes as Spanish football’s two biggest sides prepare to lock horns once more tomorrow evening.

Real are set to welcome Barcelona to the Santiago Bernabéu in a little over 24 hours’ time, for the latest edition of El Clásico.

Los Blancos will head into proceedings in the knowledge that an eventual victory would all but seal their status as La Liga champions, in guiding them a full 11 points clear of the 2nd-placed Blaugrana.

Speaking to the media this afternoon, the subject of the test awaiting his side on Sunday night was in turn put to the aforementioned Carlo Ancelotti.

Specifically, the Italian tactician was drawn on the talents of two of those expected to feature from the off for Barcelona, in the form of Lamine Yamal, and Pau Cubarsí.

Youngsters Lamine and Cubarsí have of course enjoyed stratospheric respective emergences onto the world stage this season, despite still being just 16 and 17 years old.

Ancelotti, in turn, was not shy in praising both, confirming his belief that they ‘will have a great future’:

“Pau Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal have been big surprises this season. They are doing well and will have a great future.”
