Brahim Diaz’s progress was halted abruptly this season following an injury in mid-September. It was feared that the playmaker could spend three months on the sidelines, as the nature of his injury looked serious.

However, Diaz has gone through a faster-than-expected recovery and could be set for an early return to action.

Return date set for Brahim Diaz

According to Jorge C Picon (h/t RM4Arab), Brahim’s recovery is going smoother than expected, which is why the club have set a potential return date for the playmaker.

As per the report, Brahim could return to action on November 2, when Real Madrid are slated to take on Valencia.

The Moroccan has frequently gone to Valdebebas to speed up his recovery, working closely with physios in the process.

In addition, Brahim is training at home to try and be ready to return to action as soon as possible. As a result, the playmaker is now in a position to make a full recovery by the start of next month.

Brahim to miss Barcelona game?

That said, it appears unlikely Brahim will be available for Real Madrid’s upcoming matches in La Liga and in the Champions League.

A return date of November 2 implies the playmaker could miss crucial league matches against Celta Vigo and Barcelona respectively. He will also miss the important Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund.

Although Diaz is trying his best to return before the Barcelona clash, his presence in El Clasico remains doubtful. However, it is not entirely ruled out and a lot may depend on how he continues his recovery in the coming days.
