In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Real Madrid are eyeing a blockbuster move for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland this summer. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are willing to offer Vinicius Junior as part of a package to bring the Norway international to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in this transfer window.
Haaland had another impressive campaign at Man City recently after he put in a series of productive displays as the focal point of their attack. The Norwegian talent banged in 34 goals and grabbed five assists in 48 appearances for the Mancunian outfit last season across various competitions.
The 25-year-old was a real threat in the final third as he averaged 3.42 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He kept 52.9% of his attempts on target. However, Haaland needs to improve his link-up play in the opponent’s half, based on his pass success rate of 66.9% in the top tier of English football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Mancunian club will run out in the summer of 2034. Thus, it won’t be easy for Los Blancos to get a deal done for the Man City talisman in this transfer period.

Haaland has proven his worth as a lethal finisher in the final third. He can strike the ball with venom and precision from long range and has got the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates up top.
The Norway international is usually quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He can use his strong 1.95m frame to dominate the opposition defenders in the air, but needs to work on improving his passing accuracy in the opponent’s half.
Haaland would undoubtedly add plenty of goals to Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso’s attack. He has what it takes to nail down a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and could help the Madrid giants compete for a lot of major trophies in the coming seasons.
At 25, Haaland has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a dream target for Los Blancos to pursue before the end of this transfer window.
