According to a report from Le Parisien, Real Betis could swoop on AS Roma’s Enzo Le Fée after the Frenchman has fallen out of favour under Claudio Ranieri. The Frenchman joined the club from Stade Rennais for a €23 million fee ahead of the 2024/25 season after he was reportedly convinced by then-head coach Daniele De Rossi.

Roma’s poor start to the season saw De Rossi sacked after only four games. The good news at the time for Le Fée was that De Rossi’s successor Ivan Jurić was thought to be similarly appreciative of Le Fée’s abilities albeit the midfielder suffered a significant injury that kept him out of the team near the start of the season. However, Jurić did not last long in the Roma hot seat and was fired less than two months into his 18-month contract.

Ranieri became the latest head coach to lead I Giallorossi this season and this appointment has seen the former FC Lorient midfielder start only one game. The Frenchman is reportedly not looking for an exit, but Real Betis are interested in his profile and could test Roma’s commitment to the midfielder in the coming days.
