Tamo Junto Brasil!

After a 12-hour flight from Leipzig to São Paulo, the Red Bulls arrived on time at midnight in Brazil. The group headed straight off to bed due to the five-hour time difference.

Saturday – football museum visit

The lads are set to experience their first highlight of the trip at the famous football museum in São Paulo. Here, football is not only celebrated for its sporting entertainment but also as a cultural phenomenon, whose influence extends beyond the field of play

A couple of players also visit Furia, one of the most well-known e-sports organisations in Brazil. FURIA have particularly gained recognition for their Counter Strike team, which has made a name for itself on the international stage.

Our boys will not only get to watch professional-level gaming, but also get a feel for a real e-sports vibe right in the heart of Brazil.

Friday – departure and final training

Ahead of the Red Bulls’ departure for Brazil on Friday, one final training session at Cottaweg had been pencilled in.

The flight left for South America bang on 17:00 CEST from Leipzig/Halle Airport. The boys either slept, played Yahtzee or chatted with the other players to pass the 12 hours in the air, eventually landing at midnight local time in São Paulo. Tired from the long journey, the squad headed straight to their hotel, hoping to quickly adjust to the jet lag and five-hour time difference.

The team’s Brazilian adventure was underway and it was sure to be an exciting time full of experiences.
