Raphinha sends personal message to Gavi after Barcelona training return | OneFootball

Barcelona star Raphinha has taken to social media, to send a message of support to young teammate Gavi.

This comes after the midfielder made his long-awaited return to first-team training alongside the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.

Gavi has of course been sidelined since all the way back in November of last year.

This comes after the now-20-year-old suffered a torn ACL whilst on international duty with Spain.

He has spent the time since tirelessly working on his recovery, no doubt desperate to contribute to what has been a stellar opening to the campaign on the part of Barcelona.

On Thursday, Gavi took a significant step towards precisely that, in joining group training for the first time in 10 months.

And, as alluded to above, quick to make clear his delight with as much on Thursday evening was fellow Blaugrana star Raphinha.

Taking to his official Instagram account, wide-man Raphinha unveiled footage of Gavi’s first day back in training, alongside the caption:

‘So glad to see you back with us my brother’
