Arsenal – 20/1

Arsenal are another side who could be on the lookout for a seasoned striker this month. Mikel Arteta’s side rank only eighth in the Premier League for open-play goals scored this season, behind the likes of Fulham and Brentford. The club’s set-piece threat has kept the Gunners in title contention though there remains a significant gap between them and leaders Liverpool.

With Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard all underperforming in terms of xG, another addition to the forward line looks sensible.

Juventus – 5/2

Tottenham broke their transfer record to sign Dominic Solanke in the summer and the £65m recruit has made a positive start in North London. Solanke has 11 goals in 27 games but has been forced to shoulder the burden almost alone this season.

Richarlison’s injuries and the lack of an experienced alternative have meant Solanke has played almost every minute this season. Kolo Muani, whose pace could be a real threat for Ange Postecoglou’s side in transition, is an attainable option to lift the Spurs forward line.

Manchester United – 13/8

Kolo Muani could also offer a more experienced addition to Manchester United’s underperforming side. United have invested heavily in Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee in recent transfer windows but the duo remain raw and unproven.

A deal for Kolo Muani makes sense, particularly on an initial loan, as Ruben Amorim looks to inject freshness into a side that has struggled this season.
