Former Rangers star Ronald de Boer has admitted that the Gers are really struggling at present and is hoping they can find a way through.
At the weekend, Rangers again dropped points as they drew 1-1 against Dundee United to miss the chance to really close the gap on second placed Aberdeen.
Rangers boss Philippe Clement is under pressure due to recent results and he will be looking to turn their form around in the upcoming games.
De Boer pointed out that Rangers under Clement are struggling big time now with playing unimpressive football and thinks that the Gers boss is under extreme pressure.
He admitted that the task of turning Rangers’ form around will be difficult for Clement but hopes that the Belgian tactician finds a way to improve them.
“Now losing a lot of games, not playing particularly well, is frustrating, and that is why you are under pressure as a manager and you have to accept that and you have to turn it around”, De Boer said on Sky Sports Scotland.
“Hopefully he can do it. They have to find a way again.
“Beginning of the season they did well, but now they are struggling big time.
“That is something you have to deal with, but the pressure is high and they have to see a way to turn that around, but it is going to be difficult.”
Rangers will face French outfit Nice on Thursday in a Europa League fixture and it remains to be seen whether they can bounce back to winning ways.
