Rangers are interested in Oliver Antman after the 23-year-old right winger had a successful season with Go Ahead Eagles. Meanwhile, Celtic want Jakob Breum.

Go Ahead picked up Antman a year ago from FC Nordsjælland. Last term, his arrival proved to be a resounding success. In his first Eredivisie campaign in Deventer, the attacker provided a league-high 15 assists, as well as six goals in 32 matches. Antman signed with Go Ahead last year until the summer of 2027, but the club are anticipating his departure this summer.

Reports from Scotland about an official bid and even an agreement between Go Ahead and Rangers have been denied by the Deventer club. Last season’s KNVB cup winners are aware of the interest from Scotland, but have not yet received an offer from Rangers. Antman was at the training ground in Deventer on Monday morning.

Rangers’ rivals Celtic are reportedly still interested in Antman’s teammate, Jakob Breum. The Scots made an initial offer of €1.5 million earlier this summer, which Go Ahead quickly rejected. Celtic recently raised their offer twice, but the transfer fee was nowhere near what was required for the Dane.

Like Antman, Breum is on contract in Deventer until mid-2027. The attacking midfielder joined from Odense BK two years ago. A switch from left winger to number 10 proved to be a golden opportunity for Breum, who scored 10 goals and provided five assists in the Eredivisie last season.
