Milan star Rafael Leao is already preparing for the pre-season and has spoken several times to new coach Massimiliano Allegri, who is said to be ‘surprised’ by the Portuguese’s commitment to the Rossoneri.

Milan coach Allegri believes Leao will play a key role in the 2025-26 campaign and has already spoken with the Portugal international several times, according to Gazzetta.

According to the report, the Italian tactician was surprised by Leao’s passion and commitment to Milan.

The talented winger is training alone while on holiday to prepare for the beginning of Milan’s pre-season, which starts on July 4.

Gazzetta reports that Allegri relies on Leao to bring Milan back to the top and is confident of helping him fulfil his potential at San Siro.

Milan director Igli Tare already confirmed Leao’s commitment at a recent press conference, hinting that the club is not considering his sale.

There were reports earlier this month that Leao had told Milan he wanted to leave this summer, but the latest reports from Italy suggest otherwise.
