It will be a big summer for AC Milan with several changes expected off the playing field, but it seems that there will be changes on the pitch too.

In the past few years, Milan’s big stars have frequently been the topic of rumours, and this season, it seems that the club may give in to them, at least to a degree.

As Quotidiano Sportivo write, there are a few big questions that need answering in the next few months, and it could be a summer of complete change.

We start with Theo Hernandez who ‘can leave’ the club in the mercato – his contract will not be extended and the paper quotes Geoffrey Moncada’s statement, ‘we cannot afford to lose players for free’.

Rafael Leao’s future will be a frequent discussion, and whilst the club will not be able to get anywhere near the price tag they had on display last summer. Interest remains in the Portuguese, as expected, and Barcelona, Chelsea and Al Nassr are all possibilities.

Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders, despite signing renewals (or in Pulisic’s case, being close to doing so) will also be discussed. Barca, Manchester City and Chelsea are all watching the Dutchman with extreme interest, whilst Liverpool dream of Pulisic as their Mo Salah replacement.

On the incoming front, Samuele Ricci is a big dream, whilst the left-back position is also being heavily targeted.
