PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe rejected AC Milan move | OneFootball

Presnel Kimpembe’s (30) future looks set to be far away from Paris Saint-Germain. The France international is set for a move to Qatar in the coming days, L’Équipe understands. However, he turned down the opportunity to remain in Europe, it has been revealed.

The publication understands that AC Milan showed an interest in signing the Frenchman towards the end of the transfer window. However, Kimpembe was completely opposed to the move to the Italian side, and so negotiations never even got underway, despite the interest shown.

So instead of joining up with fellow Frenchmen Christopher Nkunku and Adrien Rabiot, both of whom joined AC Milan in the closing stages of the transfer window, he will now make the move to Qatar. That deal is expected to be completed in the coming days, with the transfer window still open there.

Kimpembe has hardly played since suffering a severe ankle injury in February 2023. He does not feature in Luis Enrique’s plans at PSG.
