PSG | Phil Collins set to make Parc des Princes return

A lot has changed at Paris Saint-Germain over the years, but one thing, in particular, has remained a constant – the players’ entry to the tune of Phil Collins’ ‘Who Said I Would’ at the Parc des Princes.

PSG had attempted to swap the song for a track by DJ Snake back in 2021, but without success, with fans demanding the return of ‘Who Said I Would’. At Les Parisiens’ first home game of the current season, against Montpellier HSC, Phil Collins’ track was not heard.

Amid the backlash, PSG insisted that an altered remix of the track had been played as the players came onto the pitch. If it had been, it was scarcely audible. The club, at the time, told Le Parisien that there was “no question” of replacing the track, which has become almost synonymous with PSG.

In light of the backlash, France Bleu understands that the original version of ‘Who Said I Would’ will make its return for PSG’s second home match of the season, against Stade Brestois on Saturday.
