PSG informed about Barcelona stance regarding Lamine Yamal | OneFootball

This season, Lamine Yamal has been the breakout star for FC Barcelona. The youngster has grown from being a talent playing in the subsidiary to being one of the references in the first team, and that too only at the age of 16.

Although the player can improve a lot in the coming years, he is already playing at a very high level, and clearly showed his skills at the highest stage, against teams as difficult as Napoli, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint Germain.

These good performances with Barcelona have naturally resulted in a significant interest being shown in the player by some of the biggest clubs across Europe.

In such a context, the club that has shown the greatest interest in getting the Barcelona gem is none other than PSG, against whom Yamal shone in the first leg of the quarter-finals, and who robbed Barcelona of one of the biggest stars at the time, Neymar, some years ago.

In fact, the Parisians are open to offering as much as €200 million for the youngster. However, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are not really keen to part with the winger, and his agent, Jorge Mendes, has taken it upon himself to convey to the Parisians that the Catalans will not agree to a sale of the 16-year-old, no matter how much they are willing to offer for him.

The Portuguese superagent had already traveled to Paris yesterday, where he undertook meetings with the top decision-makers of the Parisian club.

Barcelona consider Yamal to be one of the keystones of its present and future projects, along with other youngsters like Gavi and Pau Cubarsi. Thus, they will not be open to a sale of the winger, irrespective of how dire their economic situation turns.
