Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid feels uncertain after a quiet performance at the FIFA Club World Cup. Now that the transfer window is open, rumors about a possible move are starting to pick up.

PSG’s position isn’t entirely clear. Josué Cassé from Foot Mercato said the Brazilian forward isn’t currently on PSG’s radar, which clashes with reports from Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who also ruled out Tottenham Hotspur as a potential destination.

That said, Plettenberg mentioned that Liverpool and PSG are watching Rodrygo closely. PSG remains very interested and is actively looking for a top young winger, but any deal will likely depend on how the transfer market unfolds in the coming weeks.

Could PSG secure a Real Madrid standout?

Walid Acherchour from After Foot RMC shared his thoughts on PSG’s transfer window, wondering how many players will want to leave in search of bigger roles. He also thinks sporting advisor Luis Campos could be targeting a star from Real Madrid.

“Will Gonçalo Ramos stay and be satisfied with that playing time?” Acherchour said (h/t Le10Sport). “There’s Kolo Muani, and Asensio will probably leave. Kang-In Lee, between his behavior and the second half of the season, has been like a ghost player.

“At the end of the transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain will have to make a move for a forward — a player who can play across the front three positions. A late transfer solution like Rodrygo or Akliouche… I know Luis Campos really likes Rodrygo, and there could be a market opportunity at the end of the window.”
