According to Sports Zone, Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a fee with Lille OSC for the French defender Leny Yoro (18).
The young centre-back has been a key part of a Lille backline that narrowly missed out on automatic qualification to the Champions League after they dropped points in a 2-2 draw against OGC Nice on the final day of the season.
However, even if Lille had managed to secure their spot in next year’s competition one thing would have been certain, they would be competing without Yoro. The defender has looked certain to leave the club this summer with a host of European clubs linked with the Frenchman.
PSG have made the first move in what could be a long transfer saga after Les Dogues accepted their offer of around €50 million. However, Yoro reportedly still has a preference for Real Madrid who have worked hard to convince him to join their project.
