The second half of the season has not started well for the Rossoneri Primavera. At the PUMA House of Football, AC Milan suffered their first defeat of 2025 at the hands of Fiorentina and Rubino's early goal. The 1-0 scoreline came straight away and stuck around, the Viola also had the chance to double the lead with a solid and superior performance. Guidi's side struggled to create any serious attacking threat. It was a rather lacking performance: a bad beginning, minimal offensive action and no real change of pace during the game; the opponent didn't help and neither did the muddy pitch given the rain.
After the two draws to Lazio (0-0) and Atalanta (1-1) and securing qualification for the Coppa Italia quarter-final on penalties, this first misstep of the new year coincides with the start of the second half of the league season. Trip-ups are to be understood, looked over, and resolved on our path of growth, trying to get back to the brilliant form shown before the break. Matchday 20 of the Primavera 1 season forced the Rossoneri to remain on 33 points in the table, in sixth place and still in the play-off zone. The next and difficult fixture will be an away day in Lecce on Wednesday 22 January at 14:00 CET with the aim to go again.

We tried to gain ground: in the 19th minute, Nissen from a distance, in the 21st minute, Bonomi couldn't quite get enough on his shot in a difficult position. The march towards the break continued without any great action: Ibrahimović and his teammates' initiatives were all closed down, and moves from Gudelevičius and Caprini didn't come off.
The second half came and went with much the monotony of the first 45 minutes, the Viola managed the game and stepped on the gas: in the 51st minute, Bertolini shot high and in the 55th minute, Caprini also missed.
