The Los Angeles Galaxy are in action again on Wednesday night. Fortunately, their next match is not for Major League Soccer, where the defending MLS Cup champions are just 3-7-16.

This is now the second of two international tournaments that the LA Galaxy have reached the quarterfinals. They are once again one of the final eight teams competiting for a title.

After falling to Tigres UANL in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup, the six-time MLS Cup winners have a chance to go even further in the 2025 Leagues Cup by beating their next opponent. They will face Pachuca, who are in first place in the Mexican La Liga.

The 3 LA Galaxy Stars Most Likely to Score

So far in this tournament, Joseph Paintsil and Gabriel Pec have both scored more than once. They are not alone as young newcomer, Matheus Nascimento, is tied with Paintsil at three goals scored.

To win on Wednesday, against Pachuca and three of their best scorers, the LA Galaxy must channel their winning ways from last season's historic playoff run. They scored 18 goals in five games while posting three shutouts along the way.

With production like that from the Los Angeles Galaxy, they were able to win the 2024 MLS Cup title. A repeat performance against Pachuca sets the Galaxy up nicely to compete for the Leagues Cup title.

How to watch the LA Galaxy vs. Pachuca game?

Even though this game is not an MLS regular season match, it will be made available on MLS Season Pass. It can also be streamed from both the Apple TV and Apple TV+ platforms.

Kickoff is at 10:45 p.m. (CT) and 8:45 p.m. (PT) in Carson, California. The LA Galaxy have won all three of their regular season games at home.

Hopefully, the reigning 2024 MLS Cup champions can find that winning formula once more at Dignity Health Sports Park. Win or lose, the LA Galaxy will play there again on Saturday when they host playoff hopefuls, the Colorado Rapids.
